cheers grafty Thumbs Up that looks smart and very factory! I do like the foot well lights too, I was close to wiring a feature like that in my little rover metro last year, but things went backwards instead of forwards so I got shot before I finished the job.
One thing I did was install a interior light delay which was a very neat touch. if only I could the little item again for the defender it would be pure mustard! Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Luckily the td5 has 'smart' interior lights as standard that illuminate when you disarm the alarm and then fade out after 15 seconds when you close the door. They also turn off after 15 minutes if you leave the door open to save the battery.

I put the footwell lights in primarily so I can see what I'm doing with my pedal lock Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

that looks fantastic! I wonder if they use the same Delay relay as the Rovers, The rover 75 speaks to mind with you saying about the smart system. I did keep the fuse boxes with all the relays for spares for ours, as I thought that I could use the lights on buzzer, but I don't think that its the same on the defenders sadly.
What did you use to wire in the floor pan lights? Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Bow down

I wired the footwell lights into the live and earth from the 'doors open' side of the interior light so any time the doors are opened they're on but the don't come on if you manually turn the lights on in the headlining.

The interior lights in td5s are controlled by the factory alarm module so you can turn some features on and off Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

ah spot on, Shame the MGF interior mirror doesn't fit these, you could have had the extra map lights. I do wonder if a 406 review mirror would work with the auto dim system, I have that installed in the 306, which is a mega neat feature!
Might be an idea for you Wink Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Loving the lights and interior trim...even without the Alcantara Wink I just have the plastic mud trims in the back of mine, no carpet, just rubber mat.. but then I do have a big wet dirty Labrador getting in occasionally... Great work Grafty Bow down 1993 200Tdi Defender 90

Got 5 minutes to myself today so changed to a 19 inch wiper blade on the rear. The difference in wiped area is massive. Basically the whole aperture you can see through is wiped. Obviously only a mod for panoramic rear glass Thumbs Up

This is the original wiper in the 19 inch wiped area.

That's one thing I need to get working on mine is the rear wire! Another mod you might beable to use, these have the same wipers I think as metros and minis, The metro lads used to use the mk1 clio wipers for the added style. might be a little idea for you Wink Not sure if the larger wiper blade will fit though.
edit, get the lettering on you tyres done in white Thumbs Up Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Because my tyres are 285s I don't think a chunkier wiper arm would fit, I have about 3mm clearance between the arm and the tyre currently Laughing

I do like white lettering on tyres but I'm not sure it would suit mine as it stands Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Are you good with photo shop? if not get some one to photo shop the white lettering on.
I recon it would, my parents defender did it to theirs, and it really did set the rear off nicely with the tinted glass. Thumbs Up Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
