Land Rover won't work without their spider. That's a well known fact.
Look after yours as spares are becoming rare.

All over!!! I've never known a car that attracts so many spider webs!! Especially the roof rack and spare wheel. Evil or Very Mad

I have noticed that unlike my old Discovery spiders love my 90. I seem to remember posting about this last year!!! Cheers Don.

I used to have one that would pop out whenever it knew I was starting a long journey. If it was only a ten minute run it would stay in the headlining but if it knew I'd be out for more than about 30 minutes it would appears and say hi after about 5 minutes. I don't understand either.

I haven't seen it recently though Sad

Cobwebs do still appear.

My favourite lives top right, pops out now and again before retreating to the space behind the headlining.

I heard some Defenders were built without said spider. If this is the case with yours you can order one. Part no LRS008. Whistle

Funnily enough, I noticed a web in the dash area just a few days ago, & found the culprit,...what we call a "Daddy Longlegs"!!....No worries there, just put him outside.
Gotta be careful in Aussie though, we have some nasties that are not very friendly.
Our biggest is the Huntsman, not particularly aggressive, & not really dangerous, but BIG & hairy,....I had one drop down from the sunvisor into my lap once,....I stopped the car & got out,...Quickly.
Pickles.

A spider I can just about cope with. This on the other hand would have me abandoning my car and never ever getting back in it. Shocked http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hereford-worcester-37796436
