200 TDI injection pump
Its possible that my injection pump is leaking between the head unit and main body, its my understanding that you can carefully release the head unit a small amount to remove and replace the large o-ring/seal. Has anyone on here carried out the repair with success?
I have watched a video on youtube which involves removing the top of the pump to make sure a shim doesn't fall off a cam inside the pump, is it possible to carry out the repair without removing the top of the pump?
Many thanks.

When mine developed a leak I bought a second hand one and sent it off for refurbishment at Diesel Bob. Then swapped it for mine once it arrived, not that bad a job.

Still got my original here if anyone needs one to do the same.

I am pleased to say we carried out the repair and it seems to have been a success. In the end we decided to remove the pump from the Land Rover and replaced the seal with the pump sat in a vice, this made it a lot easier. Haven't done many miles yet but so far so good.
