Defender Air conditioning o rings
Hi All

I am currently retrofitting air conditioning to my TD5 county station wagon and need to fit replacement O rings to the various pipe connections. The o rings are fitted to the compressor pipes, receiver dryer, evaporator, condenser unit etc.

I have a diagram which is attached below. This shows a number of pipes and o-rings which are listed as no 5,6,7,8,9,10 and 11.

Can I buy a an O-Ring set or can any one help with the part numbers or details of where I can buy them, thanks!

Just for info - standard black O-rings are not good for aircon. Use the proper green and lube the with a bit of aircon oil. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "BlufĂnek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

Go to the garage who will fill tha gas to the aircon systém and ask for "few drops" of oil. You will hardly need more than 2 drops for each o-ring. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "BlufĂnek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile
