Wales 2014 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 SW Corris Grey
Sorted
As per my pictures, they were paired correctly
Took all in 4hrs
- 9.15am put landy on ramp in mates workshop
- 9.30ish make cups of tea
- 9.40ish fetch breakfast rolls
- 10.00 start working on diff guards
- 1.00pm finished Smile most of my time lost trying to find M10 metric fine bolts, then cutting them to correct length and cleaning out predrilled holes in the diff, had to use a proper thread cutter/cleaner

I found the diff gurds fit not to bad, insted of fitting the top bracket to the main body of the diff guard with the bolt facing down (as per pictures) I screwed the bolt facing upwards throught he treaded section of the diff guard.
This enabled the bolt to be held in place and made it easir to locate and support the top bracket. I then used a nut (not supplied) to pull and fix the parts together
Soooooo much easier.
Also the supplied bolts for the rear diff guard are not correct for my Puma, the pitch of the thread was wrong, the predrilled holes in the diff are M10 - metric fine (the bolts supplied were neither metric fine or UNF - could not work out what they were)

Hope this helps someone else
