I went this year. Really enjoyable show.
Admission price was very reasonable and the site is clean and well laid out with an interesting range of exhibitors. Most of the focus is on non LR vehicles with lots of manufacturers of larger 4wd Expedition Campers / Trucks. Seriously impressive vehicles are everywhere! Food and drink is really reasonable price on the show ground. Camp site is almost the best part! It's like the most amazing collection of overland trucks, 4wd's, 6wd's etc - all gathered on the edge of town in a couple of fields! Hope to go again next year  |

We have been going to Bad Kissingen for the last few years. It is very different to the UK shows, dare I say better then the UK shows? Organised with typical German efficiency. The public car park and the public camping is about 5-8 miles away from the actual show, however there is an efficient shuttle bus service to the show ground from the car parks and the camp ground.
The camp ground is reputed to be an excellent 'showground' although it can get crowded. We camp on the Nakatanenga stand. Many firms exhibit there who do not exhibit in the U.K. It is not a Land Rover show also there is no auto jumble. It has 4 to 5 times the number of visitors as Peterborough but copes extremely well with the numbers. Highly recommended. Brendan |

Went in 2015 and it is definately worth a visit. Lots of kit you wont see in the UK, mainly for bigger trucks but no shortage for general use. The campsite is definately something to experience, as long as you dont mind close neighbours.

We went this year and camped, we went in 2013 and the camp is just as good as the show, to be truthfull the camp holds more interest to us looking at other rigs and stealing idea´s.

Martin, 15th-18th June, might be able to do this. Wanted to go last year but it fell on the wife's birthday.

We do the Hull Zeebrugge ferry as it saves about 600+ miles driving and potential extra overnight stay somewhere.
With Hull Zeebrugge ferry you land at about 9 am after a decent night sleep before starting the drive to Bad Kissingen. Brendan |

I think it is only 130km between zeeburge and calais so it will depend where in the UK you are to save 600+ miles
