United Kingdom 2003 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Epsom Green
What breather pipe is this?
Hi All,

A Perished breather pipe fell off from the near side rear wheel arch whilst jet washing my TD5 110. Photo below.

Any ideas? Doesn't appear to be my rear axle breather.
Anyway, all round growns as more cost no doubt coming up!

Many thanks

Robin

Thanks Ericvv, Bob and Agent mulder,

Worse than I thought then, and absolutely no way of avoiding the job.
I'll read the post, is the TDCi set up similar? Tank out then? Gulp.

Thanks again

As explained in that other thread, with a 110 you should be able to get access to the connection to the fuel tank without dropping the tank, this in contrast with a 90 where the tank apparently needs to be dropped. You have a 110, not a SW but a DCPU, but fair chance that you are lucky too.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

110SW here, dropped mine eventually. Just couldn't get my hands to muster the required strength when they were in the gap. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...
