TD5 Alternator Slip Ring replacement

Does anyone happen to know of a source of replacement slip rings for the TD5 alternator?

My enquiries sofar suggest that the particular ND alternator used on TD5s is the only alternator in the world for which replacement slip rings are not available! There must be something that will fit!

If anyone knows of a source I would be grateful!

I cannot bring myself to scrap an alternator which is in perfect condition except for the slip rings.
