Boomslang headlight loom problem
I have a strange headlight problem. I fitted a boomslang loom 2 months ago and it has worked perfectly, until now... I now have one headlight functioning normally (near side) - dip and beam work correctly, and are good and bright, but on the other side both dip and beam filaments are dimly lit at the same time, irrespective of the position of the dip switch. It looks like both filaments are getting a much lower voltage than they should be. I don't think this is a problem with the relays since I have once light working normally, and I've tried a new bulb but there was no difference, so it isn't the bulb. Before I take the whole loom apart to find the fault, does anyone have any experience of this sort of problem, and how to fix it?

Boomslang looms are notorious for quality and problems related with them. Get a Landreiziger one instead would be my advice.

Almost certainly an earth fault (open circuit) on the side with the dim filaments.

OT ... anyone have issues with the light switch, I know it was an issue on the 2.4s, what about the 2.2s?
