Go on Tripadvisor there is loads problem is this time of year they are all $$$$$. Had a cottage on the Outer Hebrides 10 days over new year what it cost then you would struggle to get 3 nights this time of year same with Log cabin, Had one at Parkdean for 14 nights in Feb/Mar the other year over at Tummel Bridge 600 now your looking around that for the weekend!!

My mother-in-law is away on holiday at the moment. I checked, but apparently I'm "not allowed" to rent her house out to a stranger I met on an internet forum. Whistle

Still, if you're prepared to pay cash and keep it quiet I'm sure we could come to some sort of arrangement......... Mr. Green Dirty Deeds - Done Dirt Cheap

Hi Brian,

Yes we did and although 95% of the time the weather was pretty poor. However that didn't stop us from having a lovely time. We stopped 10 mile north of Oban in a nice little camping and caravan club site. We did Ben Nevis while there along with Mull and Iona. Two miles up the road we visited an lovely pub while the sun was out on Loch.....erm can't recall name....

God's country...it is lovely Thumbs Up

Thanks for asking - been putting the camper to good use?

Yes every weekend and holiday. Doing Europe next year as we don't seem to go much further South than Carlisle these days but that may have something to do with living in Scotland, no need to travel far. Currently in Brora for a few days at a C.S that used to be a GCHQ listening station, then up to Durness and down the West Coast to Skye for a week or two.

Hi Lorryman

I'm sure I've seen that picture on another forum I'm a member of ( where I'm known as Milliethehymer) . Looks a great location!

Have Fun!
