Hi JJ... It has no aircon or leather and it is quite a plain 4work model. No bling or spacehopper tyres. Just a good straight unabused vehicle that has only been used for commuting locally to the workplace. No VAT which is a bonus. I am leaning to ask £2,500? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Look at Autotrader. 2006, nothing less than £8000. Possibly better spec than yours but surely not over £5k difference?

It is a 2.5 turbo diesel intercooler coming up 60,000 miles. No leaks or rattles. It has only done 6miles a day on A roads so motorway mileages are as yet a mistery! As i said it has an apple size dent below the O/S tail light. The steel wheels are a bit rusty but i will do them. Interior is tidy but could do with a bit of a wipe over. I can put a years MOT on it at cost. Million milers seem to go for more that double.
It is white but nice and gears, hi/low diff locks all as it should do. If it doesn't go soon i am going to put muds on it and use it as a shooting vehicle to keep the miles and mud off my 90. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS.. |

As a private sale I would of thought closer to £2900 , £3500 on a good day but as always you would be waiting for the right customer. £2500 is a good price and not far off trade so you may be able to cash it in quickly without the hassle of a private sale, there's £1500 - £2k in it for a trader especially if financed HR064 Hampshire and Berkshire 4x4 Response

Thanks JJ. I have had a dozen or so requests for pictures overnight and it is priced to sell quickly. As i said it is a August 2005 unblinged tool ready for use and is the last(ish) of the classic shape, not that swoopy lined current shape! 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Very nice price! I am presuming it has the basic gearbox and not their fancy one that allows 2wd high, 4wd high, constant 4x4 and 4wd low. They were also running 2 different loadbed lengths with the double cab but the gearbox option and loadbed lengths may be on younger models.
From a Trainer's point of view, my only observation is that 1st gear is higher the the competition but that's only an observation , not a criticism. We were told of a Trainee's colleague who bought a brand new one a number of years ago, fitted with all the toys. This young lad lived in Argyle and had to return it to dealer for a complete front end costing £4-5k which Mitsubishi refused ti pay! This guy had been running it in 4wd all the time and based on his age I'd reckon he was hoofing it! I only say this as a word of warning, 4wd on tarmac isn't a very good idea! It's amazing the stories you hear in my job...... |

Quite possible you're suffering from Scotland Syndrome - ie too far for most people on here to be worth the trip ... although £400 does buy a plane ticket and change for the booze in the airport! You'd think at that price it'd be gone in a second but a couple photos never go amiss...
As they say here (took me ages to figure it out) GLWTS! |
