Ariel Baffoonary!
Hi all
After my encounter of the bovine kind a few weeks ago , where the bent my ariel over it finally gave up the ghost and fell off!
So armed with previous threads I trotted off , got a replacement and started to swap it with the now defunct one
Tie some string to the old cable and removing the radio I successfully got the old cable through with the sting attached to new cable.
Yep you guessed halfway through the string broke before the cable could get to within sight or reach , so does anyone know if there is an easy way to get the cable back through or is it a dismantling job on the dash ?
Cheers
Greg

Try a metal coat hanger or similar if you can get hold of something like that it would be a good puller.
You can get interior aerials too, although they may just be DAB.
And I haven't heard much about them really..

Your Bovine issues you are not alone, although mine were Equine instead. Whistle
They had a nibble on my old bonnet badging, not a lot else but gave me the ideal excuse to change the lettering, Rolling with laughter

Should have said I did try the coat hanger thing , with the tip taped to avoid damage , got it so far but still could see or feel where it was , even with the centre thingy out !
