Wolf wheels
Evening,

Will 265/75/16 fit on wolf rims 6.5 wide?... If not what is the largest tyre that will!

TIA

I seem to recall that 255 85 16 is the largest you can safely go on a wolf rim, I'm not 100% sure but have got that size stuck in my head.

I have the same, 235's. Having searched various sites opinion suggests 265's will fit and some people have run them for 1000's of miles. However the tyre manufacturers do not recommend this rm size so it may have insurance implications if something went wrong.

I have 265-75 on my 16 wolf rims now so they fit. Not sure about whether they were designed to as they came with the sale. Insurance wise also unsure.

I was recommended only to run 235 85 16 as my local garage said I needed a 7in rim to run 265 s . But as said they do fit

There's a difference between fitting and "fitting".

They will mount on the rim, many have run them without issue, but the tiremakers don't recommend it, so personally I wouldn't. Those four round things hold you to the road!
