England 2002 Defender 110 Td5 Black LE Java Black
Alloy wheel finish
Does anyone know what finish car manufactures give their alloy wheels?

I am due new tyres and fancy repainting my boosts in anthracite and can't decide whether to paint them or have them powder coated. I have read through the various threads on the subject but none really seem to come to a consensus of opinion on which is best. 2002 110 td5

I think they are usually powder coated. I see you're in Huddersfield. Try http://www.cascoatings.com/ - I've used them loads for wheels and NAS steps. Basic prices for wheels start at £1 an inch based on radius so 16" wheel = £16 which is an amazing price. They strip off old coating and redo - but don't repair. Lots of colour combos as well. Cheers
