One thing to bear in mind is that, at least the mud ones work the American way - so you push them in at the top to turn them on. I really didn't like that and returned them - the only place I found that had the working the 'U.K.' way was Croytec I think.

You can read about it here: http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=64589

Mudstuff offer both US and EU options, not sure when they started offering them though, it's a relatively new option I think.

The EU version switch on when you press the bottom, the US ones switch on when you press the top. http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/

As I am unsure where to put the switches yet, i'm thinking to the right of the dash i'm not too bothered which way the switches operate as long as I can wire them up correct.

You can get a light switch with a no 2 on it but after that I think you will struggle although if in Aussie they do these

I found mobile centre to have the best options for carling switches. They also supply them all as european type switching.

If you don't fancy cutting your dash, how about one of these:

Think it fits in next to the steering column. They can supply switches too which look similar to Carling switches, but not sure if they need the same size hole or not. if you definitely want Carling switches, might be worth asking them if they'll supply one without the hole cut in it so ou can cut it to your needs.

I have looked at that, although unsure on how to get the wires there,
Not too bothered about them been Carling switches, I had the switches from bolt on bits in my last 110.

I bought one of these but it didn't fit, be interested to know if anyone else has tried one?
Ended up just cutting a hole in the front of the cubby.
