Think that is quite correct. Long term members on here will remember that in a thread about LED headlights I vividly and repeatedly have criticised Brendan for comparing apples with pears where it comes to light output. But it was all done well argumented and with non aggressive language. I have persisted in my argumentation which I think still would stand up now.
I never got any warning at all.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

I only noticed as I normally kept an eye on their sponsor page and 4x4 overland as they would always be adding.... Andy

Surprised? Matt made no secret of it that he was moving on to other trendy things... And with no new Defenders coming anymore, the demand for leather cladded dash parts just has to evaporate, not a sustainable business.

I had spoken to him recently & was running FCX alongside his other businesses as doing many other defender bits like the security loom etc, but maybe not doing enough to make sponsorship worthwhile 2020 P300 HSE

I don't know what happened here but I joined Freel2 in 2007 then Rrsport in 2010 to coincide with purchases and during a period of Censored treatment from dealers/ranting I had a warning from Martin - it was totally justified on his part Embarassed

I have over the years enjoyed all Martins forums for research initially then got sucked in (much to SWMBOs frustration) and compared to other forums I've used his are the stand out best - if you've spent anytime on Jaguarforum, CaravanTalk and Mini2 you would see it too Laughing

I'm a mod on a forum so know what a thankless/difficult job it is so keep up the good work Martin and everyone who makes the forums what they are Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

I asked FCX about leather bits only the other week,

They no longer do any bits. They still show various things on the website (including adverts for the leather bits...)

Step side American pickups seem to be the next venture

To set the record straight:

FCX no longer sponsor the Defender2 forum and hence our section has been removed and we are not allowed to promote FCX on Defender2

FCX is alive and well thank you, we have not closed down and we have no plans to, however we no longer offer leather trimming (and haven't done for a few months now)

The new venture runs alongside FCX (as does a couple of other businesses) and it is not selling American stepside trucks, again I can't go into detail on here but if you're interested you'll search us out.

Thank you for your past business and we look forward to your future custom Bow down

‘Aces Speed Shop’. Sounds intriguing Mat. I know you cannot promote FCX anymore on this forum but without any endorsement from you, will you be still selling LR related products. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..
