REVO Remap
Sort of on topic (much discussion of remaps on here) but off topic as its for my wife's TT. Anyone got a Revo map? They've finally brought one out for the new TT which remaps the engine to TTS performance. Twisted Evil

Any experiences or thoughts from you Audi, VW or Porsche owners? Ta Monsieur Le Grenadier

Looked into it for my pd130 Ibiza.

General consensus is good maps if a little peaky, generally geared more towards numbers than progressiveness and drivability.

Strong dealer network though, and I suspect there'll be a lot of people with one very quickly to check up on!

Have had one long time ago on a 911 and was more than happy. As I recall there was a facility to adjust a limited number of parameters but I don't know if that remains the case. As has been said they have a good dealer network.

Was the best on the MK5 GTI 200bhp up to 240. If I remember. About500 sterling so not cheap. JKM I believe in Portsmouth were/are very good Audi VW turners. Not far from ferry if you fell over the channel

Have you looked at Litchfield? I have their stage 3 tune on my RS6 which is amazing. Their standalone maps are very good as have a few friends who only have stage 1 across a number of Audis. Puma 2.2 90 Stationwagon

Will give them a punt, thank you. Can only do a Stage 1 tune, as the moment I start playing around with turbos, inter coolers etc, it will be a lot more obvious to the French MOT Centre, as any engine mods (including Stage I remap) are illegal. The ECU is relatively invisible, the rest not so. Besides, Mrs Grenadier wouldn't know what to do with 400+bhp (assuming it reaches TTRS figures) in a car that only weighs 1200kgs. Whistle

Will take a look.

Thanks everyone else for positive thoughts on REVO. My first choice would be ABT due to their history with Audi. But their stage 1 remap (also to 310bhp like REVO) costs 2500€ to REVO's 1000€. Also, ABT mess about with the loom etc, which I suppose is why it costs more, again making it patently obvious to the test Centre. Monsieur Le Grenadier

I'm a bit late to this thread. I have a 2014 RS4 (and had a 2008 RS4 prior to that). The gurus for all things Audi (mechanical maintenance or remap tuning) are MRC. http://www.mrctuning.com/

I've never used them as I'm based in Dubai, but they are trusted beyond belief in Audi forums. 2015 110 Defender Heritage Utility Station Wagon

Thanks WeiB.beer, I'll peruse their site. Thumbs Up

Can you not remap in Dubai or is it logistics that get in the way? Monsieur Le Grenadier

Hi Grenadier, MRC do have an associate company here in Dubai. My reasons for not remapping the RS4 are two fold really...

A) I'm happy with the 450bhp as standard (its more than enough to put a smile on my face); and
B) There are very little gains to be had from remapping a (pretty highly strung as standard) naturally aspirated engine.

I have ordered the BAS 170AB remap for my new Defender so I am certainly not 'anti remapping'. Very Happy

Pick up the phone and speak to MRC, i'm sure you wont be disappointed. 2015 110 Defender Heritage Utility Station Wagon
