Fitted upgrade speakers/ sub
Finally got round to having the speakers in my 90 replaced. I've had rainbow component set up front and a coaxial set in the rear, all 4" as I wanted everything to look standard from the outside. Also fitted the Land Rover Alpine sub.Speakers all run of the factory head unit with no need for another amp. What a difference it makes, I can't believe I've never done it before. It is now more like a modern car that has a good sound system fitted. I had it all fitted at source sounds in Sheffield, great people who knew all about the defenders, highly recommend them. The speakers are good on there own but you really need a sub to make it right. If your thinking about it like I was then just get in and do it. It's not quite upto the Bose in my merc but it's almost as good as the Bose in my navara. Really am surprised how good it's turned out. Forgot to mention that they made up a leed for the sub so that it plugged into the head unit the same as on standard Land Rover fit sub.
