United Kingdom 2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey
33" or 35" muds
what size tyre should I go for need some advice 90 is now 2" higher and now needs bigger tyres but cant decide to have overall diamater of 33 or go the full hog and have 35 s any views on this if so what wheel and tyre option

Id go for 35s becuse if you go whith 33s you will only wish you"d gone  with 35s.Id put 325/65/18 mickey thompson mtz with 18/9 silverline wheels on it. Thumbs Up  well nice look NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

Go to devon 4x4 site. go on gallery look at billing 08 julie theirs a blue ibex at bottom of gallery on there with that said tyre & wheel on it . seen it at show looked cool. Thumbs Up NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

Still not tried yet but heard thay are good on this forum somewhere.

Once went to 35's on a tdi but found it a pig to drive so I changed the transferbox to a 1-1.6 (or one from a ex mod 2.5NA) and it was much better. These are now getting rare and prioces are going up. As for your I have no idea how its going to be with 35's on but i can tell you mine seems ok with the 285's (about 33's) .

I think a 185 bhp puma will handle the 35s but its the steering that worryes me will it be all over the road anyone got any pictures
