Thankyou both. I'm afraid I didn't take any other decent photos of the work in progress!

A quick update as we've just returned from 12 days in Northern Spain / Northern Portugal. Our second hand Engel fridge was running constantly for all that time, plus the second battery was also charging our phones whilst we camped. Temps got to 38 degrees (wish I had bought one with air-con!),
The welcome supply of ice cold beer meant that the fridge was also often cooling warm replacements, and so was 'on' more than it was 'off'. The longest we left the Landy without starting the engine was 48 hours, when the battery dropped to its lowest of 12.4 volts, measured by a combined voltmeter/ double usb socket mounted in the rear. All in all we are very pleased with the set up, and can't fault it one bit!
