TD5 fuel filter one way valve location
I am just replacing the fuel filter head on my 110. The new part does not have the unions fitted, they are just loose in the box. I have two plain unionns, one which is the air purge/bleed valve and one which has the one way/non return valve within it. The purge valve isnt an issue as i know it goes on the rear outside port (return to tank). The non return valve however i am not sure about. The filter head i have removed has it fitted on the front inner port (return from fpr) however i thought i would go on the rear inside port (feed from pump)

Can anyone confirm which port it fits in please?

Cheers

Just to clarify:

Front = front of vehicle
Rear = rear of vehicle
Inner = closest to chassis
Outer = closest to wheel

This may help. Legend marked 9 Air bleed shows the pipe coming from the front left as you look at the filter from the side of the vehicle, it's there in the union at the filter head.

I had the same issue. I had to change the injector seals. Ended up doing them twice before the situation was resolved. The second time I also changed the fuel filter and it's housing for a bullet one off ebay.

Cheers. Did the injector seals a couple of years ago but think i will change them again to be sure.

Have already changed the fuel pressure regulator too.

Only other thing is the pump.
