Speaker cable, what do you use?
Just fitted a 2way Rainbow set-up in the front of my defender. Bodged it with the existing speaker cable but want to
Re fit all the speaker cable and wondering what to go for?

Any recommendations for good cable at a reasonable price.

Impressed with the Rainbow speakers so far. Winter's here, thanks goodness!

I've just used twin core mains power cable in the past. It works and it's cheap. All the events I've worked at use it too.

I have used Proflex Blue speaker cable from Halfords with good results. It is a really good cable reasonably priced and 100% oxygen free copper twin core construction.

I would definitely recommend the above, OFC is also good as well.

Unless you're also amplifying them there's really no point.

Copper is copper, as long as it can handle the current then it's fine!

Fair enough! In that case, anything marked up as speaker cable will be OK, you can pick it up silly cheap on ebay.
