Gave the old girl a clean after another hard week at work, another 600 miles on the clock and another load of quarry mud to wash off!
Had new 275 70 16 BFG KO2 all terrains fitted all round and what a difference to the worn KM'2 which to be fair had lasted 50,000 miles plus and several off road trips so were very noisy and shaking a bit. KO2 are so smooth and handles like its on rails, better fuel economy too so all good! Still sold old tyres for £200! sold the new mods the new tyres came on for £100 and bought my new tyres for £500 so they only cost me £200 for the set lol.  
Suspension is quite clattery now so im guessing all the bushes are knackered so im keeping a eye out for a set of standard height fox shocks, new. standard springs and a full set of super pro bushes 
STILL yet to get the roof painted to match the rest of the Landy hahahaa

Full set of bilstien B6 Shocks and Superpro bushes ordered from Defender upgrades
Almost there now mechanically wise then I can turn my attention to sorting the mis matched paint work and rusty roll cage and give her a well needed respray! New Bilstien shocks and super pro bushes have arrived
 Think ill just use the standard current springs as they seem good! new comfort cubby box too with Union Jack flag!

110 is now with my trusted local mechanic for its 6 monthly blitz on anything thats wrong with it,
its in for wipers stopped working area of oil on side of engine block perished fuel tank breather pipe replace air con condenser and regas system Fitment of full superpro bush kit and Bilstien B6 shocks. Full 180k service inc all fluids and check on all wheel bearings and brakes. Replace top radiator hose as I knocked the wing which pushed the fan shroud and rubbed into the rubber hose.. Future plans are:- replace worn front seats with Recaro CS or Corbeau RRS bucket sets replace all corroded worn hinges with billet greasable hinges. Braided brake hoses and Brembo brake upgrade. respray roof to body colour and paint roll cage as well as winch and bumper plus chassis full Buzzweld treatment. replace cracked windscreen as the heated screen doesn't work And when the engine blows up replace with a LS3 V8

cheers I miss my defender as im driving my mums freelander2 and its REALLY boring! I want my 110 back!!!!
on the upside the Ram mounting kit for my new iPhone 8 plus has arrived
plus a new sawtooth alloy I got for £15 as it has slight damage but nothing a touch up cant sort, ideal as a spare 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)

110 is now back with Bilstein B6 shocks all round and full super pro bush set. plus new AP lockheed calipers and pads all round and a new slam panel and air con rad as they were bent/rotton.
also full oil and filter service and new tank breather also new wiper motor, bill came to £1400 ouch lol. drives lovely and planted now so its worth it! I missed it so I'm very pleased to be back in it! 
not a lot left to do really, replace the worn peeling hinges with CNC ones plus more supportive seats as I'm sliding all over my worn XS seat while cornering at a brisk pace!
Ive got Ashcroft HD half shafts, CV's and caps sat in the garage so ill fit those at some stage. Then its on to the final stage of sorting bodywork and Buzzwelding the chassis

The ride is firm yes, very planted round corners now and I have no anti roll bars fitted and carry some weight . but no more clattering over potholes or skipping just solid planted ride
showing up the slop in my steering box though so thats next on the list now!
Fitted my fathers day present, a Ram X grip short arm with 9mm ball to the top of the dash, my iPhone 8 plus with a Lifeproof Fre case just bout fits! Basically just take note of where the Army are firing and just pick the Byways marked on the maps
