United Kingdom 2006 Defender 110 Td5 SW Epsom Green
[For Sale] 110/130 Very HD rear spring inserts
I've got a pair of 110/130 HD (very HD) rear spring inserts.

This consists of an inner spring, a top plate and a lower cup. The cup bolts in place using the two standard spring plate retaining bolts, and the top plate is held in place with the original outer spring.

These don't really give you any lift (although my 110 lost 2cm ride height, some of that is the thickness of the cup & plate and its spacers, and maybe a little of the inner spring), but these come into their own when you load up, as they assist the main spring.

On my 110 when it was fully loaded, they were great. didn't seem to affect articulation (my axle has marks from the bump stops) like having a thick coil HD spring and handling was great. But it's used as a car more thesedays, so is rarely loaded up to the max with off road gear, tools etc etc.

I gave them a quick rub down and douse in paint. So it's a 10 minute job each site to fit in.

Looking for £60 the pair plus postage (or collection from Swindon area)

Possibly, just waiting on response. Do you know how old they are? Mileage? Cheers

They've been on my 110 for 40,000miles. When I got them they were used, but looked fairly tidy, so I'd think 20,000 or so on top of my use.

Putting a set on my 110 certainly made the old slightly weary standard springs much happier. They brought the back of the 110 back up to standard height with all the "extras" I carry in the rear and hasn't compromised the ride in any way.
I can take commissions in kind Whistle
