Defender 90 Road suspension kit
Good morning guys.

Ive been thinking fo a long time to change the suspension setup of my 90 SVX. My drive normally is 80% road 20% off road and currently im with a 18" setup.

I have 2 options:

-Twisted Progressive Suspension System (Bilstein + Twisted springs and anti roll bars) kind of expensive with shippment to Spain

-The "TMD kit" (Koni Shock absorbers + springs + TMD antiroll-bar)

I noticed that the only diference is that Twisted spring are same hight that original springs, for the rest its only a mather of price.

Can someone suggest me something?

Thanks in advance

To a large extent it depends what you are trying to achieve? Lowered springs, springs to give a lift etc etc.

It may well be worthwhile having a chat with the lads at Nakatanenga, relevant page here If you do not read German use Google Chrome and it will sort of translate it automatically. Most of the Nakatanenga staff speaks English and the boss is a polylinguist! A lot of their set ups are TUV approved and they probably have one of the largest ranges of suspension systems available

Shipping from UK to Majorca will be expensive. There may be cost advantages in courier costs from inside mainland Europe.

Is there any advantage of getting items shipped to mainland Spain and then forwarded on to the islands as internal carriage??
We have recently sent out a suspension system to Hong Kong and that was mind blowing expensive!

No personal experience, but always read good things of both Bowler Motorsports and Alive Performance, might be worth speaking to Thumbs Up

Sorry to correct the post above but I doubt it is much cheaper to ship from Germany, you can actually ship springs & shocks on TNT to Majorca for £60

Twisted kit is probably very good, haven't driven one but everything they do is high quality..

TMD to me doesn't sit right, too low performance i cant comment on either

Call alive, they have the bilstein option with comfort or sports springs (uprated ARB) which i do have and is excellent.. i also run 18" wheels and they don't rub or anything.
