The kit by hofele is hideously expensive for what it is, I bought the exact same kit but for the fronts from eBay for £40 and have worked faultlessly for over 12 months. Lindsay porter did a write up in one of the magazines about this, and after speaking to him about how usefully and easy this mod is, I bought the same kit for the rears, just haven't got round to fitting them yet for various reasons.

Moving the handles helped for me but didn't solve the self-opening problem, bungee loops solved it completely.

At £288 that rediculous as the same kit can be bought for about £50 but I don't like the way the spindle still sticks out. Ray

Often wondered if anyone had found a solution for this, as I have the same problem.

Perhaps we need to encourage MCMA1 to consider this as his next mod Whistle

I would be interested.

Would want to be able to control them from the front (when just me in the car) as well as the kids have a switch?

Thanks in advance

mcma1 ^ If you are able to do a guide to fitting these, for someone not good with electrics...

I would be up for a kit of stuff and the two switch holders if possible please.

Its one of the only things I miss from my last car being able to put the windows up when the kids lower them !

Many thanks

The only issue is the 6 way connector you need for the Land Rover switches, you can't buy they as they are only part of a loom... You can use carling switches though or you can track down looms on eBay, I got 2 for £20 today. Andy
