Searching for wheel spacer
I'm searching for 30mm wheel spacer, for my 110SW. Does anyone know, where can I buy it in UK ?
Has anyone experience with the combination of ZU Rims and 285/75/16 Mud tyres and wheel spacers ?

You can get them from Rakeway (Google for contact details). Excellent quality and very good value.

No experience with the wheels you mention, but run 285/75 KL71s on Boosts with 30mm Rakeway spacers with no problems at all (except that the outside of the car is constantly covered in crud thrown up by the tyres).

All of a sudden everyone is asking about spacers!

Just ordered a set of 30mm wheel spacers from Rakeway for £170 delivered. Spoke to them rather than using email, very chatty and knowledgeable a pleasure to deal with.

Discocuzzy, did you notice a difference with the turning circle? Did you adjust the steering stop? How much clearance do you have between the tyre wall and radius arm? Soz for all the questions but I am going with smaller tyres 265/75x16 on 8x16 rims( Went 8x16 modulars for when I want BigBoy boots!) and dont think I need the spacers for that tyre size but I am going to tinker about to try and get a better turning circle.

Red-Dot, will let you know how it works out. Will be next week before I have everything delivered and get a chance to start playing (waiting on modulars ,steel wheel nuts and locking nuts).

It does look more like a "before" shot than an "after" to me too. I have the same setup (285/75 KL71s, Boosts, and 30mm spacers) and my tyres are definitely further out that those in the photo.

Lorryman, the spacers do make a significant difference to the turning circle. With the 285s on but without the spacers the TC was significantly impaired, and you have to be constantly on guard for the tyres rubbing the chassis. Manoeuvering in car parks (and even negotiating mini-roundabouts) was frankyl embarassing. With the spacers on, the TC was restored. I did not adjust the lockstops at all, ie the 285s with spacers have the lockstops at the original factory setting and there is adequate clearance at full lock.

Cheers Blackwolf, you have just confirmed for me that there is room for adjustment on the lockstops especially with 30mm spacers and a smaller 265 tyre. LR show a lockstop bolt protrusion measurement of 59.7mm when fitting a BFG 265 MT on alloys (no spacers), so steels (spacers fitted) will be less allowing more movement of the steering wheel and a tighter turning circle. On earlys next week so hoping to start tinkering next weekend.
