Modified Defender TDCi In Land Rover World Magazine

In the Sept edition of Land Rover World there is an article on a modified Defender TDCi which goes on sale at the end of this week or early next week i.e. first week in August - so get yourself out to the news agents and buy a copy Thumbs Up as its mine thats in there Very Happy Very Happy

Also got a copy today , It Made the Front Cover !!!!!

Nice truck Russell , have you had any problems with the paint on the ZU Rims, mine is starting to chip off in spots and have only had them 4 months , with no heavy off road work !!

Aye, she made the front cover Very Happy really please with the article even if there are some errors in it such as saying she has some Scorpion stuff on her - not a cat in hells chance of that Rolling Eyes

No problems with the ZU's as yet and they have seen some action. They are badly scraped/scratched now but thats through use - where did you buy them from as I suggest taking them back Question

Bought them from Scorpion Laughing

Too much trouble to send them back as based is Ireland. Had big issues with them already over wheel balancing problems , say no more !!

If the trouble was with Scoripon then I am not supprised, thats why I wont touch them as there aftercare is none existant Exclamation Exclamation

Just a note to those that are looking at the magazine - I have added some extra bits on now such as rock sliders, tank guard, Cheviot Lightbar with 4 Hella lights, a cat bypass pipe with a small silencer (as opposed to the huge silencer that LR fit) and most importantly, a BAS Switchable Re-map system - god bless that man Pete Bell Bow down

The re-map has made a real big difference as she sits at motorway speeds much better and seems to breathe more easily. Also she pulls like a train from low rev's and has much more torque.

Pete tells me that he has not mapped her for a great gain in BHP or torque but it is instantly noticable Very Happy

Hi All,

My defender TDCi is going to be at the North Of England showground over the weekend of the 13th & 14th Sept which is the LRO show Smile

She will be on the Bell Auto Services (BAS) stand and will be showing off the new switchable re-map system that Pete is offering Thumbs Up

I will be around most of the weekend so hope to see some of you there Very Happy
