No problems with mine, got the V2 and could not be happier. I was not keen on V3 as is more visible and couldn't rid myself of the idea the top half of the door is weaker and would twist more (although I have heard no real world examples of this).

Re. fitting, riveted mine, no issues with trim, a great mod.

Fitted Stainless Steel bolts to the front bumper and had my yearly ACF50 anti corrosion spray around... :

thumbsup:

Unscrewed and lifted the rubber mat of my Nas Rear Step I fitted in about seven months ago and spotted the first signs of rust just starting to creeping in on the rear seam where the step meets the middle fixing plate with the two bolts that attach it to the rear cross member. I can see that the water gets trapped between the rubber mat and the fixing plate theres a narrow gap of about 1 or 2mm where it sits. It was only surface rust, very light so a quick rub down and a few coats of satin black Buzzweld finishing off with a coat of ACF50 across the whole platform and then replacing the rubber matting over the top. I'll check it again before the winter. I could possible run a bead of black gutter sealant between the two before winter so that water cant lay there over the winter months... Hi I am too a Essex boy coming from Billericay before moving to Chelmsford 30 years ago been a Land Rover fan all my life having most models over the years but just coming back to Defenders for the first time in about 6 years.Having just purchased a 2012 90 been looking round for a power and suspension upgrade yours looks to suit my needs but after having a bad experience with another tuner I would just like to ask are you still happy now you have put a few miles on the clock and would you have the same set up now ?

Hi legin welcome to the forum Thumbs Up

Yes I'm very pleased with my current set-up and would recommend to anyone thinking of doing the same! There are many threads on here regarding tuning and remaps it might be a good idea for you to do a search on the forum for them Thumbs Up 2010 Defender 90 HT

Hi I have looked and I just liked your setup also it's nice to talk to someone who has few miles on the clock. There's a TD5 with the same suspension as yours who does a bit of light off-roading which is just up my street Very Happy and the power upgrade from Alive all look's good apart from one complaint who's not to sure where he had it done !Like you ,not too far from home so will be contacting CSK this week and try and get booked in.I must admit your 90 is superb and far more than my needs,I still want that country boy feel with a bit of get up and go thrown in.

So much has happened since my last post!

I purchased one of Pete Bells Hi-Flow intercoolers, fitted with some new silicon hoses

I also purchased a new set of black side steps which I think look much better than the chrome one's I had before

Another mod I've been wanting to do was the twin windscreen washers!!

Unfortunately I can't take the credit for doing that mod Brendan at Stock 4X4 did a fantastic job for me and he is happy to do it for any of the forum members - just give him a call to book in!

But the best mod IMHO to date is the new slickshift from Syncroworks! WOW what a difference it make in a very good way!! It feels like a completely different vehichle to drive. Its a fantastic mod and well worth every penny IMHO I'm so glad I did it 2010 Defender 90 HT
