TD5 Intermittently Running Rough
My TD5 has started to intermittently run rough. It feels under powered and feels and sounds like it's not running on all cylinders. Curiously a simple engine switch off and restart cures the problem. I do the same route often and know exactly where it's going to happen which is approx 30 mins into the journey.

I posted this on a Facebook Landy group and got the following replies. The second being preferred Shocked

1) Mine did the same got slowly worse over time, combination of fuel leaking into the oil & the dreaded oil along the wiring loom into the ecu !!

2) Take rocker cover off, there is lead with plugs on it, you can replace it, its not expensive and easy to do.

Thoughts? Thanks.

Cheers Steve - It's not turbo related. Its like a cylinder inst firing. Turn the engine off and back on immediately its cured (till the next time)

Definitely sounds like a injector loom issue

Check red plug under drivers seat for oil if present fit a new loom easy to do yourself and costs about 40-50£ 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid)
