fixing rear ladder captive nut or tapped crossmember ??????
Hi

I have just purchased a rear ladder that hangs in the rear gutter and picks up the 2 torque fixings at the bottom of the rear panel,

Are the nuts captive or is the rear crossmember tapped or neither??? any help would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Lee

On all the ones I've seen its bolted through to loose nuts on the inside

Well, I guess they changed it since mine was built in 199!

Although I guess the change could have happened when they went from having the Xmember 'tabs' on the outside to on the inside of the body.
