Replacing door hinge pins
Is it possible to replace just the hinge pins?
When trying to adjust the doors I thought I was adjusting the doors, but could not suss why the door didn't sit right. Turns out there is play in the hinge pins.

So while I was adjusting the door, I was in fact moving the door in accordance to the amount of play in the pin! 1999 Defender TD5 110

I have never actually managed to remove the pin from a standard Defender door hinge, though I have several times read (as above) that it is theoretically possible, and I suspect that the pin is 'upset' after fitting to swell the lower end to prevent removal.

In practice it seem that you have to replace the hinge complete.
