Did LR in their wisdom fit a standard type plug n' play connector to the rear of their radio/cd units or will I have some electrical jiggery pokery to do if I upgrade to a more modern unit e.g. Alpine iDe-178BT

From 2002MY Td5 used a BMW type audio connector (same as the R50/R53 Minis). Earlier Td5s used standard ISO
