Harmonic balancer failure.
Hi

I've just had a Td5 dropped off for a service, the owner handed the keys over and said its rattling can I have a look?
Well, I have found out it's the harmonic balancer on the crank pulley.

So I ring around only to be told Dealer part only!
With discount, this still comes in at a whopping £550 + VAT!

Now I seem to recall a while back, someone made aftermarket ones?
Has anyone fitted aftermarket, And where did you find it?
Or are they really only available as genuine parts?
Obviously the customer doesn't want to spend the money, so i am trying my hardest to find an alternative.

Cheers chaps 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"
