Insurance valuation
The insurance renewal on my Ninety is due in the new year, I am currently on an Adrian Flux classic policy (3k miles pa / market value) £88 per year
AF last year gave me the option to set an agreed value (at a fee) which I didn't take up at the time,

I'm thinking I should this time round but how does this work? & what do people think is a fair valuation?

that looks well tidy and as such is probably worth more than the average, also makes it more pinchable, I would therefore agree a value if the premium is not too high, saves any argument if the worst should happen. £88 per year is a bargain anyway DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

Hi
I've got an agreed value policy on some of my LRs.
They will simply ask you for 6 clear photos, front, back, side, interior, etc.
Ask you for a list of any restoration costs, price of parts paid, who done them etc.

Basicly tell them how much you want it insured for, they will then agree a value for you.
If then the worst happens, and it's a total loss, you will get your agreed value back.
Rather than the book price minus a few grand, with no arguments.
Well worth it if you have ploughed a few quid into it.
Thumbs Up

There is a fee, but it's nothing compared to what they will offer you without it.

Thumbs Up 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered.

Thanks Ian, just need a realistic value now!
Looking at what's for sale, prices vary wildly from £3000 to £30.000!
