Rear Heated Window and Brake Lights issues?
Ok so if anyone could help that would be great,

So got in my X-Tech this morning to go to work and put the rear heated window on and the 2 body mounted brake lights( OE LED LIGHTS) came on and stay on until I turn the heated window back off? The brake light all work as they should with the pedal and everything else seems to work as it should on the back end so could I be right in saying its a relay maybe?

Thanks for you help in advance

Stu

Sounds like an earth issue on the rear window glass. At the base of the glass there are a couple of tab connectors that join the printed circuit of the heated screen. One of these will be heated screen power, one for the high level brakelight and then another for joint earth. It is common for one to be knocked and not give a contact.
They can be re-attached or with the earth you could run another wire from the brake light to act as a bypass

Definitely an earth fault of some kind, I'd say.

Check all the rear lights in combination with each other, I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are odd results. Check the earth connction in the vicinity of the offside transfer box mounting bracket (this is the main earth point for the rear end harness).
