Hi All,
Going through all the various part numbers through Microcat to try and find an in-tank fuel lift pump that fits the TD5 110 style plastic tank and lock ring.
I cant use the TD5 pump, but I need one that fits, but utilise a pump too. It's not essential as I can use a feeder housing, like the 2.4's etc with an external pump, but just wondered if there was one with it built in?
As far as I can tell, the P38 diesel may be the only one?
I had it in my mine that the 300tdi's did too, mainly the ROW spec and the 300tdi Disco with the plastic tank. But having searched into it, I'm not sure they do, and thinking about it, there's no reason for them to on the 300tdi.
Can anyone help with what may suit. Dont want HP, so you normal 4-6 PSI.
Is the 2.2 one the only one with a small helper pump built in?

Depending on the relative costs, you could always use a 300TDi tank sender and attach an in tank pump to it.
The 300TDi unit I use with a TD5 has a plastic, spring loaded pickup that slides over a metal pipe. It should be pretty simple to remove the plastic piece and attach a suitable low pressure in tank pump. This has the advantage that you can carry a spare pump too ! http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/
