Its Sonic and Alex Es fault...

Im about to purchase a defender 110 TD5 double cab Thumbs Up

Choice of 3 at the moment, all 02-03 reg, any faults i should be aware of, points to look for etc?

Choice of 3 colours, Oslow blue, epsom green or black

I may also have been 1 of the D3s being pulled out of the sand Big Cry

Any info greatly recieved!

2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Manual Stornoway Grey

Epsom Green would be my choice, others scratch a bit too easily.

As for problems, it seems that the TD5 is pretty bombproof, which is more than can be said for the Puma Big Cry

2007 Defender 90 Td5 HT Manual Alpine White

Top vehicle..............Top engine!! Would have the newest/best nick, whichever colour that one is Thumbs Up

No major faults to look out for from 02my onwards, worth checking for diesel contamination in the oil-usually duff injector seals- a cheap and easy fix nothing to be scared of if you're handy with the spanners, leaky top cover gaskets can allow a dribble of oil usually down the starter side of the engine, again cheap and easy. Do away with the EGR using one of BAS's kits to keep her nice 'n' clean inside Thumbs Up ...........

The Rope of hope did do a sterling effort in the big dunes.
