Anyone heard of this company www.mobile-tracking-solutions.co.uk

They seem to have a good price on the Tracker Locate device - £295 fitted + Subscription - the RRP is around £460 + sub

Couldn't find any reviews on this forum, had a quick Google and only found a few reviews on reviewcenter.com

Picking up my new (to me) Defender tomorrow (which i will put a post in the My Defender section)

Cheers Neil

Better off with a Skytag, far less initial outlay, and cheaper subscriptions for a service as good if not better Thumbs Up

www.skytaggps.co.uk Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

Thanks for the replies

I don't want to start another thread on Sky Tag or comparison with this and that type of tracker as there is a lot of info on here already. (too late Embarassed )

BUT... Very Happy

With my limited knowledge of not owning a tracker, how is the Sky Tag preferred?

If i do a "Top Trumps" compare of the two, Tracker Locate "seems" to offer better features and will inform me of any movements and has signal jamming detection and VHF signal.

Unless I'm missing something

skytag is promoted on here for obvious reasons its a good product balancing price verses effectiveness ,,However if you compare it with other more expensive systems it comes up short imho!I was torn between what was the cobra system and the skytag and its a battle between the wallet and the brain...the brain won !

How is the service better?exactly!Does skytag have any endorsments from the security or trade orginisations or car manufacturers?iIt doesnt have any anti tamper (just battery disconect)....and you need to report the theft which is a clincher for me

I chose Skytag when they started years back, been happy since. Flexible options, good communication from them always and a phone call as soon as my defender moved, when it shouldn't. What's not to like.

Sure there are others. You asked for our opinions Thumbs Up

Did you buy the black 110?
