Chile 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Stornoway Grey
Garmin GPS and Open Street maps
Hi there!

Probably some of you know the maps provided by the Open Street Map Project.

https://www.openstreetmap.org/

Those maps are free and are based in a collaborative scheme. Tends to be quite good (at least better than some paid Garmin maps that I seen in the web)

Trying to found a good SouthAfrican map for my old Garmin 60csx I reached the following web page that allows you to convert a openstreet map in a Garmin map for the GPS.

http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/

Working pretty well and accurate in my trip to South Africa.

Cheers! Eduardo
