Ignorance excused Thumbs Up

625 per vehicle to enter a 2 week competition is cheaper than the standard follow the car in front safari see here http://www.trailmasters.com/tour-dates

There is a lot of work involved in setting out the routes, driving the routes and laying down the challenges on the routes. There will be support vehicles and vehicles on several check points each day that cost need to be covered. 8 teams will need to enter the event it make it worth while. 130's have feeling's as well you know Smile

I think there could have been some confusion on it being 1250 per vehicle rather than the actual 625. Which doesn't seem to bad.

So who's the support/marshals gonna be??

625 is a lot less than many 4x4 tour comapnies charge for following them around for a week. This sounds like a massive amount of fun and I would love to come...

(a) If i had the money,
(b) if i had the spare holiday,
(c) if i had a hope in hell of justifying leaving Mrs 110SEB alone with a 3 yr old and 3 month old

I will require at least 100 photos posted of such a trip if it goes ahead.

Spot on - in exactly the same position. I think my 3 year old would like to come with me but the 3m old is a bit too young still One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

Al for whats it worth and if i was buy new I would go with the new airtop in black, as it would go with mine well, your options are better as black or white would look good and I like the system where you don't have to crank it up and down Thumbs Up brenden has this one, draw back he said was getting to the front ratchet strap to pull it shut Confused

I think the medium is the most common size as this fits nicely on our RACKs at approx 1400mm wide.

The difficulty with the Airtop is that the rubber straps at the front of the Airtop is that the distance between them corresponds exactly to centre to centre distance of the slats on a Patriot rack. Move it to front of rack no problems. On roof bars no problem either. The problem is matching any roof tent to the roof rack/bars

As for costs of the proposed tour is not outrageous. One tour company I am aware off will charge 700/vehicle IF 8 to 10 vehicles book as a group booking
