Since there is some interest I have added a sign up with three options.

Option 1 Startech wheel with NO boss

Option 2 Startech wheel with boss up to MY2014 EA99999

Option 3 Startech wheel with boss from MY2014 FA00001

Please consider carefully which option you need and when comparing prices make sure that you are comparing like for like. IF no boss is mentioned on another advert the chances are no boss will be supplied.

Without the correct boss the indicator cancellation system might not work correctly.

We will have to look into what options we can offer on colour of stitching and surface texture.

Am pretty sure we can beat the ebay price for steering wheel only Thumbs Up

The ones on ebay have a PIMENTO coloured stiching, which not always blends in to the rest of the interior. WANTED:

SII or SIII in max 1.5k

And JE Engineering have them on their site for £355 (w/ VAT £426) (which includes fitting kit)

http://jemotorworks.co.uk/interior-styling...g-defender

According to the vendor, the eBay price of £399 does include the boss.

On Startech website they are €529.55 including VAT which works back to something like £383.00 today. Includes both boss and stitching colour of your choice. Just shipping to add. The €445.00 you mention there is Startech website price net of VAT.
Guess this is your benchmark. Thumbs Up
Eric

Brendan

I will need to check my VIN before i can clarify which boss is required.
My car is January 2014 though if that helps.

I stand (partly) corrected with saying that benchmark is the prices on Startech website themselves. For the very latest model year Defenders the Naka price for steering wheel plus boss is essentially identical to Startech, a few € cheaper, so there is a double benchmark set.
But for earlier Defenders upto somewhere in 2014, the Naka price for wheel plus boss is quite a bit cheaper than Startech themselves. So there is another and better benchmark for those. Thumbs Up
Now, I do not understand very well why there has to be a price premium of €60 for the boss fitting the newest models. Startech make no difference in price for either of the two bosses, they are equally expensive now that I have seen the Naka site. Laughing

The new version RAID boss is massivly increased in price. Why? We don't know.

As we are a very large RAID dealer (couple of hundred steering wheel anually) there is no need for us to buy bosses through other suppliers than directly. WANTED:

SII or SIII in max 1.5k
