1985 Ninety, leak at rear wheel
I have an issue …

Oil leak at rear wheel, fluid smells like transmission oil.
Brake drum dry.
Are told that it is the breather that is blocked.
But are not told what to do.
Can anyone of you please tell me?

the breather is 9mm tub runs the axa to the engine bay you will clear tub blockage

next you will need sort oil seal and Gasket Leak

What he said. Reason blocked axle breather causes this is because heat expands the contents of your axle case and the easiest exit is to push past the oil seal behind the stub axle. Easy to fix though. Could also be because the vehicle has stood and your seals are past their best.
