Rather than lower the hitch, could you give the trailer a suspension lift? Might be better if you take it off tarmac.

Hi Robert, is the night lamp (red led) from mud uk by any chance? if so how bright or dim is it at night. i am looking to do exactly this and think the mud uk light looks a nice solution, but i don't want it bright! in fact i would like it a subtle glow.

I will look into it, it is some torision suspension on it( it is a old navy trailer, used for refilling helicopters) and it is from 1967 so I haven't got any info about the suspension

What do you need 'night' lamps for? Special Ops (AKA Dogging)? :whistle:

Night lamps is very good when you lost and need to read the map (when you has forgoten you'r navi) and the roof rack is off for some new paint, vill be fitted to day 😊

Today I fixed my "clonk" coming from the rear 👻
The joint on the a frame was gone 🚨 But it was a easy job, now no clonk so I 'm has a nice Tomb Raider again 😎

Did a service on the engine, oil/filters so now it is ready for some winter time!
Also fitted new winter tires = Continental icecontact
