Just arrived in Perth WA!

Went the 'easy' way... For health reasons I changed plans and went straight across the Nullarbor...

A 'leisurely' trip helped out by my son. But still awesome!

Standing at the 'bottom' of OZ... made me and the Defender feel and look VERY small! (spot!)

More later!

Towing my customised 7X4 trailer... Only 800 kg fully loaded, off road springs, changed the hubs to fit Defender wheels, Electric brakes, James Baroud RTT, inside is 'Drifta' kitchen, 100L water in jerry cans, 100L diesel in jerry cans, 110 AH AGM battery, bags of storage for food, Weber BBQ, 'Max Tracs', chairs, tents, tools, air compressor, jack, spare, Anderson plug to run fridge (in the rear of the 90) at night.

All worked a treat!... Just need a bigger awning if it rains! Razz YOLO... You Only Live Once...

Yolo, did you drive that 90 mile road?
I wonder if there's a 'quickest' drive of it all?!

Love the 90/trailer rig Cool

Yes mate! Its part of the 'Eyre Highway' that crosses Oz East/West.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eyre_Highway

The '90' mile bit is totally straight! Totally! After about 30 minutes you are mentally just begging for a corner!!! Laughing

Several 'airstrips' on it as well for the Royal Flying Doctor Service to land their aircraft on for casevac.

Hardly any traffic... as per the photos! And you need to 'camp' or caravan you way across as well! YOLO... You Only Live Once...

I have not fitted my Wolf wheels yet on my Keswick 90 SW, your 90 looks fantastic. I have to say I don't normally like bull (roo?) bars but I do like the one you have fitted.

Cheers mate!

Practical too... we had quite a number of 'hits' on the Bullbar crossing the Nullarbor...

... flies! Laughing

Most of the 'road kill' was after dark by the big 'Road Trains'... I am still however very pleased I have this added layer of protection given the hazards of Oz bush roads.

The Bull (roo) bar is a genuine Landrover item, marked accordingly. I like the styling too... many others are very overpowering. However I will say I prefer the 'non bullbar' look and will be taking the bar off once travels are over!

Anyway, I love my 90! Exclamation Cool YOLO... You Only Live Once...

I parked 'Miss Marple' in front of this lovely Heritage... which also had a sunroof!

Looked lovely, thought I still prefer my Keswick Green! Thumbs Up

Storage plans in the 90 worked well too!

Sliding drawer unit containing tools, recover kit, jumper cables etc with a slide out fridge drawer on top to house my 40L Waeco fridge. Seats folded up with 2 dedicated large roll bags for clothes and bedding, ruck-sacks, 3 X 20L water jerry cans. Still enough room inside for first aid kit, sleeping bags, torches, maps, DVD storage! And to finish off, a brilliant 'Tuff Trek' rear door pocket storage system containing all sorts of stuff!![/img]

Perfect for just 2 people travelling... who needs a 110 lol! Laughing YOLO... You Only Live Once...

Here is a good view of my camper trailer kitchen! Looked at by my dear old mum... 94!! Thumbs Up

You can also see the other slide out box contains food, jerry can storage etc. 2 gas bottles, one for the 2 burner primus stove and the other for my Weber BBQ!

I can lift up the 'lid' even with the James Baroud tent popped open... works great.
