It's probably the wings that aren't straight, making the bumper appear uneven. It's a Defender, that is how they are built I'm afraid! 4mm is pretty normal IME - if that's going to play on your mind then you might be better off selling it now and buying a Toyota...

If you look hard enough , your find other bits a lot more than 4mm out !

Discomog - the vehicle is under warranty so take it to the dealership and get them to sort it out - you must not touch it! The guys at my dealership are starting to break a sweat every time I walk in. Well for three years I don't have to live with the tiny or big flaws .... after that it becomes a different story - then I start to have my fun "Landy Time"!
