thats how i understand it. and once the log book is issued thats it? it can't be changed?

a defender 110 sw with the utillty pack is still classed as a car not LGV and cannot be changed the log book code from the dealer will show a car so they can not be changed

I never use the backseats in my Defender, but I wanted the luxuries of a CSW, so can I take the back seats out and then only pay commercial road tax?

You can change the vehicle type on the registration document. You have to alter the vehicle to suit the DVLA's requirements. You then make an appointment with your local DVLA office and a 'little Hitler' will check that the vehicle fulfils the requirements and if he is happy. They will issue a new Reg Doc. |
