is it 3.9 V8 or upgreded 4.6 V8?

Hello everybody,
My first post I hope to share info through this nice forum, ok I got V8 defender, manual,1997 model
My first question is how I can know if it's 3.9 V8 or upgraded 4.6 V8
My second question is regarding wheel spacers when I make a full turn I hearted that the tires are touching the frame many of my friends says get spacers so which type and size you will suggest ?

Try 30mm spacers available in uk from Paddocks for approx. £135.00 for 4.

Hi aagain,

Also adjust the steering stop bolts to increase steering lock after fitting the spacers.
