[Wanted] 2'' Hitch reciever
Hi, does anyone have a 2" hitch reciever lurking in the garage for a 90?

Cheers

Andy

Looking at those photos it would appear to be attached to the rear cross member just by 2 x 8mm possibly 10 mm bolts.

Compare that to say the Safari Equip one which has a big plate which bolts to the face of the rear cross member plus has a couple of braces going back to the chassis.

Compare that to the Safari Equip style. Have nicked the photo Embarassed

I could be mistaken about the other receiver, there might be parts missing, if I am mistaken I apologise.

I would be extremely reluctant to tow on that 2" receiver. I do not recogonise the make of it.

If you want more information on the Safari Equip one give me a shout

Sorry to put another dampener on things when someone is trying to help... I wouldn't use the offered receiver hitch as the potential for it all to go horribly wrong when towing or in a recovery situation is far too high for my liking...

Sorry Andy - I got mine at Newbury but the next one's not until 4th October, so might be too long to wait.

Good hunting!

I think the one posted could take arms looking at the back but it wouldn't be the right angle for a 90 with a rear fuel tank.

There is a guy at the shows (always next to goldfish winches) that makes them. I would not recommend this one, even though I are one myself. It's strong enough but the tolerances are not as good as the safari equip one which I'll swap mine for when fund allow (and all the other more urgent jobs are done) www.td5.org
