The Air Con pump conversion has been going on for years on the Jeeps.. they give around 8 cfm.. the only draw back is they normally rely on the oil in the sealed system to keep them lubricated... obviously this would be missing on a compressed air setup... I was going to build one for my Jeep (real one, I Know the difference between a Jeep and every other 4x4!) and use an inline oiler on the inlet and a very good oil / water trap on the outlet, and then into a tank via a non return valve. The major advantage of using an Air Con pump is it comes with a means of disengaging it, and with the addition of a pressure switch becomes very controllable Thumbs Up RRC 2.4 TD... it's either a stretched 90 or shrunken 110!!
